In Class Writing

    Legally drinking at the age of 21 instead of at 18 makes no sense. First off, they say its because your brain and body are fully developed by then but if that's true, then why are 18 year olds allowed to smoke? Making the choice to smoke is just as bad, if not worse than drinking. They are both decisions people have to make. Secondly, smoking is addicting and drinking usually isn't unless your an alcoholic which in that case its a mental addiction because you don't want to deal with reality.They are both really bad for you, causing cancer and such, but in this day what doesn't cause cancer i mean lets be real here. It simply doesn't add up.Third, just as your allowed to serve your country at 17 and vote at 18, gambling and drinking you must be 21. If your old enough to decide who's president you should be old enough to gamble and drink.

Narrative

     In May there was a foam party at the mesa convention center and a girl wanted to attend. she didn't know if she was going to be able to because no one could go with her and she didn't want to go alone. she found two friends that would go with her and so they headed off. when they got there they didn't know exactly how it was going to be because there weren't very many people because it was early. they went down to the stage and stood in the foam and danced. her friends wanted to just walk around but she wanted to play in the foam. she went with her friends for a little while but then she got bored so she left. after she left them she went back in the foam, it was as tall as her, no even taller than her. she went deep into the foam and almost drown. thank goodness her friends came back and helped her out.

Quiz

     I would say that paparazzi do not have the right to follow celebrities around the way they do. It is an invasion of space, it is stalking, and it causes a lot of problems because they get pictures of things and write about them when they don't even know for sure whats going on. It ruins a lot of their careers and gets them to start drug and alcohol because its so stressful.. I couldn't imagine having someone watch my every mood i would never feel like i can be alone and i would always have to live up to expectations. It would drive me crazy too.

     An event that happened in my childhood was when I was 12. I never thought about my parents not being there for me anymore, but when my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer all that changed. I always wondered why her and why now when I need her the most because she had just had a baby. I wasn't ready for her to go and always in the back of my mind that thought is there I could loose her at any moment and never be ready for it. She had her operations done and chemo and radiation but when all that was happening I was so worried about her i started failing classes and falling behind in life not only in school. I was depressed and didn't think anything good could come out of it and nothing ever did except that she survived.

In Class Writing

     New Jersey is a great place to visit. Its amazing all the things you see, for instance, all the birds and rides on the boardwalk the bright lights are so pretty at night. The smell of the ocean and the food makes you super hungry and makes you want to eat outside so you can enjoy the smell of the clean ocean. The feeling of the sand sliding through your toes is smooth and soft. the taste of the pizza and fries with cheese makes you never want to leave. Hearing the small children laugh and play during the day and at night the smooth ocean breeze and crashing of the waves, You'll never want to leave. This is why I suggest you go to New Jersey for your next family vacation.

#2- A lesson Ive learned in my life is to always no matter what put you family first, in the long run they will ALWAYS be there for you. you friends boyfriends/girlfriends wont be a few may be there for a while but most of them move on to bigger and better things. Your family doesnt.

     Shes a lonely girl she sits and waits for someone, anyone to come up and talk to her. Every night she goes to a coffee shop and sits and drinks her coffee for hours until the little coffee shop closes. All she does is think about what she can do to get people to notice her. Shes tired of being alone she wants someone she can depend on and love and have them love her too. Once the shop closes she leaves and goes home.
